Fw: ACTION ALERT: Last Hearing on Unemployment Insurance Tax bill t his Friday

Dear Chamber members,

Our Senators need to hear your concerns on the increased cost of Unemployment Insurance.  They need to hear how your individual businesses will be impacted.  Cut hours?  Lay offs?  Testimonies may be submitted online or faxed.  Please see the letter layout below.

Mary is going to Oahu tomorrow to testify on behalf of HICC but our legislators need to hear from you.  As of yesterday afternoon, only 25 letters have been submitted statewide.

HICC members’ testimonies stood out as important and caught the attention of the legislators during the last hearing because they told the real story of East Hawaii businesses.  Mary’s offer still stands to be your voice if you’re afraid of your business being identified.  Email her at exec@hicc.biz with your story/facts.  Please let us know if you will be submitting testimony and cc me your letter at admin@hicc.biz of fax 961-4435.

Thank you all for taking time from your busy schedules for making a difference for everyone.
